Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about shipping between the UK and Turkey with us.
What is groupage (part-load) freight?+
Groupage — also called part-load or LTL (Less-than-Truckload) — is a shared-trailer service where several shippers' cargo travels together in the same vehicle. You pay only for the space and weight your goods occupy, which makes it far more economical than a dedicated trailer when you don't need the full capacity.
How often do you run services between the UK and Turkey?+
We operate regular scheduled groupage departures each week in both directions between the UK and Turkey, with additional full-load (FTL) runs organised on demand. Contact us with your collection postcode and we'll confirm the next available slot.
How long does a shipment take between the UK and Turkey?+
Road transit typically takes around 7–10 days door-to-door, depending on customs, specific origin/destination points and seasonal border conditions. Air freight is 1–3 days; sea freight for bulk cargo is 15–25 days. We give you an honest, realistic transit estimate at quote stage.
Do you handle customs clearance for both UK and Turkey?+
Yes. Our in-house customs team handles UK import and export declarations (via HMRC's CDS) and coordinates Turkish customs formalities through trusted partners. This means one point of contact from collection to final delivery — no gaps between freight and customs.
What documents do I need to ship between the UK and Turkey?+
Typical documentation includes a commercial invoice, packing list, EORI number (for UK side), and an ATR movement certificate or equivalent where applicable. We review your paperwork before loading and flag anything missing so goods aren't held at the border.
Can you collect from anywhere in the UK?+
Yes — we arrange collections from any UK address and consolidate cargo at our depot before loading. We deliver the same way on the other side, across all major Turkish cities.
Do you offer warehousing and storage?+
Yes. We operate secure warehousing with options for short-term storage, cross-docking and consolidation. This is especially useful for e-commerce sellers building outbound loads or importers needing buffer stock before onward distribution.
What about pick & pack and e-commerce fulfilment?+
We offer pick & pack, labelling and export packing for e-commerce and B2B shippers. If you sell into Turkey from the UK (or vice versa) and need someone to receive goods, repack and send them out, we can handle that end-to-end.
Can you handle urgent or time-critical shipments?+
Yes — urgent shipments are part of our everyday work. For genuinely time-critical cargo we can arrange express air freight or dedicated FTL runs. Call us 24/7 to discuss options.
How do I get a quote?+
The fastest way is to call +44 1480 470 114 or use the quote form on our contact page. Tell us origin and destination postcodes, number of pallets (or weight/volume), commodity description and any deadlines — we'll come back to you with a firm price, usually within the working day.
Are you available outside of normal business hours?+
Yes. We are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Cargo doesn't stop at weekends and neither do we — there's always a real person on the phone.
